In 2001, Rob Goodall saw an opportunity to transform real estate financing in Canada.
At the time, alternative capital solutions were limited, often dominated by developers and lawyers, and lacking the structure and service borrowers needed. Determined to bridge this gap, Rob set out to introduce a new kind of financing partner.
A partner built on reliability, high quality service, and a deep understanding of the real estate landscape. Over the past two decades, Rob’s vision has shaped the foundation of Atrium, an institution that continues to redefine what alternative financing can be.
Today, Atrium remains at the forefront, helping build the future of real estate in Canada.
Our Organization
Founded by Rob Goodall in 1994, Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation (CMCC) Group of Companies is a leading alternative mortgage lender and investment manager with over $2.5 billion in assets under management.
The Group of Companies consists of four investment platforms, including Atrium, that traverse the full risk spectrum.
From institutional mortgage funds to mezzanine and equity funds, CMCC’s Group of Companies provides the Canadian real estate market with debt and equity financing.
