Spencer McFarlane joined Atrium in December 2022 on the commercial mortgage underwriting team. As a Manager of  Commercial Mortgage Investments, his focus is to strategically allocate Atrium‘s loan portfolio amongst a diverse range of high-quality financing needs that support trusted clients and partners.

Before joining Atrium, Spencer spent 6 years sharpening his problem-solving skills in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and private equity. After 2 years at one of the largest players in the Canadian gold-mining industry, Spencer, decided to apply his expertise to the world of real estate financing.

Spencer holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the Toronto Metropolitan University.

Spencer is licensed under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario as a Level 2 Mortgage Agent.
