Laurie Floyd joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in May 1997 as an Executive Assistant and was promoted to Office Manager thereafter. She oversees the daily operations of the office, including licensing, IT, human resources, payroll and insurance.

Before joining CMCC, Laurie worked for 8 years in the Group Benefits division of Confederation Life Insurance, serving on a Business Improvement Project the last year to integrate the group administration of Confederation Life and Manulife Financial.

Laurie also held various positions of increasing responsibility with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce for 7 years after which she managed a sun tan salon for 2 years.
