Ian joined Atrium in March 2024 as the Managing Director for British Columbia. In this role, he originates, structures and underwrites a wide range of BC-based commercial real estate financings, including construction, term, and high-ratio mezzanine.

He brings nearly two decades of real estate experience, specializing in providing high-yield and conventional financing to developers and property owners, and facilitating private equity investments. Previously, Ian served as Director of Real Estate at one of Canada’s largest financial institutions, and held senior positions at private real estate lenders providing debt on behalf of institutional investors.

Ian is licensed under the BC Financial Services Authority as a Submortgage Broker. He holds a BA from the University of British Columbia and a Masters of Commerce from the Australian School of Business (University of New South Wales).
